This policy describes how the OnlyFence mobile app (“the app”) handles personal data. The app is an independent, free client for the OnlyFence fencing tournament system. It is not operated by OnlyFence.

1. Who is responsible

The app is published by Cech Terra de Selinan, občianske združenie (IČO 37801457, Antona Bernoláka 2180/58, 010 01 Žilina, Slovakia), which is responsible (“we”) for the data the app processes itself, as described below.

Data you send to the OnlyFence system through the app is the responsibility of OnlyFence, see section 4.

2. Data the app collects

• Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics, Google): if the app crashes, technical details about the error and your device, so we can fix it.
• Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase): general information about how the app is used, such as which screens are opened, so we can improve it. They are not used for advertising.
• Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA): when you submit an event registration, technical information about the device and the interaction is sent to Google to check that the registration comes from a real person.
• Camera: used only by organizers to scan QR codes. The image is processed on the device; only the content of the scanned code is sent to OnlyFence.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Data stored only on your device

• Favourite events and fencers, and your language setting.
• If you log in as an organizer and choose to stay logged in, a login token, stored encrypted.
• If you tick the option to remember your details on the registration form, your name, club, email and phone number, stored encrypted.

This data never leaves your device and we have no access to it. You can remove it by unticking the option, logging out or uninstalling the app.

4. Data sent to OnlyFence

Event information, results and fencer profiles shown in the app come from the OnlyFence system. When you register for an event, log in as an organizer, scan QR codes or send feedback, the data you enter goes directly to OnlyFence and to the organizer of the event. We do not receive or store it. 5. Sharing and transfers

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone other than Google, which processes crash reports, usage statistics and reCAPTCHA checks on our behalf. Google may process data outside the EU; such transfers are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. How long we keep data

Crash reports and usage statistics are deleted automatically according to the retention periods set in Firebase. Data stored on your device stays there until you remove it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Because crash reports and usage statistics are linked only to a random installation identifier, we may not be able to identify your data without it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (https://dataprotection.gov.sk). For data held by OnlyFence, contact OnlyFence.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The current version is always available in the app.
